I have two blogs that I update regularly. One is my Rhetoric and Civil Life blog, created for analyzing different types of rhetorical situation. The other is La Liga, focused on my passion for soccer.
My rhetoric blog covers a wide range of topics. They include an interesting genre for books, dictator literature, and an uncommon kind of social networking site, aSmallWorld. I'm choosing to highlight these blog posts because they discuss something out of the ordinary. Not many people have ever read or even heard about writings written by dictators such as Saddam Hussein, and not many others know actively use social networking sites outside of Facebook or Myspace. In the same way, for my blog on soccer, I am choosing to focus on outside issues rather than the game itself. I discuss a problem that many soccer players will face but one that receives little attention compared to the amount of press that reports on the actual game.
